Welcome To My Piano Studio!

I am a very dedicated piano teacher with lots of energy and enthusiasm, and years of experience teaching music to children! I have a degree in music from the University of Washington in Seattle, and I have been teaching piano and running my own studio now for 8 years.  I absolutely love what I do, and I am currently accepting students of all ages and ability levels, but I specialize in working with kids which is my passion!

I keep my piano studio small so that I can do a high quality job with each student.  I care a lot about my students, and it's very important to me that I foster a positive, warm and encouraging teaching environment.

I customize all of my piano lessons to meet each individual students personal needs in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

I teach music in all styles (classical, jazz, pop) and lessons can also include ear-training, songwriting, and theory as well if desired. 

Students get to utilize my home recording studio to make CD of their music, and to track their progress.  Recording is beneficial because it allows students to hear their progress over months and years! I also have them record a CD around the holidays, as it makes a great family gift!

Every year I hold an annual recital at a local Los Angeles retirement home. This works great, the residence love it and the kids get to perform and do community service at the same time!  

My lessons are competitively priced.  I only have a very limited number of slots as my focus is on high quality lessons.  I teach in Hollywood.  Free parking.  Plenty of great references available!

FREE Trial Piano Lesson!

I offer all potential students a free trial lesson!  This lesson is a great opportunity for students to meet me  and go through a typical lesson in a friendly and welcoming environment!  It is also a great chance for parents and students to ask questions and discuss their individual needs and musical goals.

About Me

I am a pianist, singer-songwriter and recording artist originally from Seattle, WA. I have a music degree from the University of Washington, and have studied piano since I was 6 years old. Over the past eight years I have had the opportunity to teach piano to over fifty students of all ages and ability levels! I specialize in working with kids, and my students have gone on to receive college scholarships, and attend performing arts schools. I love working with kids, and have volunteered as a music teacher in both Guatemala and Costa Rica. In my spare time I enjoy reading, tennis and baking, as well as hanging out and playing pickle ball with my Grandpa!
